Venturing Into The YouTube World

So it's finally happened, Simply Beautify Me has now become a YouTuber as well as a blogger. I have been wanting to start my own channel for absolutely ages and I finally plucked up the courage to do it. I filmed and put up my first video about What I Got For Christmas this year. I picked this to start off with because it was a nice & simple thing to film!

This could be a total fail and I'm prepared for that. The way I see it is I tried it and gave it a go and if I continue with it and enjoy it then that's a bonus. If I completly hate it well at least I tried & I can never say the dreaded "What if?".

So I hope you all enjoy the video and would love if you could go have a watch and tell me what you think?

What did you get for Christmas?
Comment below, I'd love to hear!

Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette

Well girls, yes everyone and their mother right now is talking about this palette and yes I really think its worth all the hype, talk and love! When I first heard this was coming out I was a little sceptical about his because I have the first Naked and love it but I didn't see the point in buying Naked 2 even though it is very pretty. So when I saw the shades in the naked 3 I fell in love instantly. The rose toned shades in this are Divine and I thought they would look lovely with my skin tone.

I love the packaging on this one, the naked 1 has a cardboard Velvet packaging that has a magnetic closure which I do like but like the naked 2, the naked 3 has the tin packaging which has a click and secure closure. The naked 3 has a rose gold tin with ruched detailing. In this palette you get a doubled ended eye brush that has a side to pack on colour on the lid and another fluffy side to blend colours in the crease. Also in the box you get a sampler of Urban Decay's eye shadow primers. You get four little pots that say you have a weeks worth of primer. The samplers you get: Original, Eden, sin and anti-ageing.

So the same as the other two, this palette has 12 shades which range between two fully matte shades, satin mattes and then shimmery shades.

The shades are as follows:

Strange
Dust
Burnout
Limit
Buzz
Trick
Nooner
Liar
Factory
Mugshot
Darkside
Blackheart

(A dodgy photo of swatches but at least you see the shades!)

I love all of the shades in this palette obviously I have my favourites which are burnout, limit, buzz, nooner and darkside. but I can honesty say I don't dislike any of them. The one I have a slight problem with is Dust because it is a strong glitter shimmery shadow you get a lot of fallout but I can live with that. These shades like all of urban decays eye shadows have incredible pigmented and they blend super well.

All in all this is by far my favourite of the three nakeds from Urban Decay. I just think the rosey toned shades suit me more and its more my style. I think this palette is nice to have and for me I'm going to get a LOT of use out of it.  If you are someone who has the other two naked palettes I can honestly say this is nothing like them and I do think it is a nice contrast from the other two naked palettes.

I really don't know how I happened to get this palette early because I was told by a Urban decay shop assistant that this palette would not be out in Ireland until the 16th but one day after college I went to have a look at the naked 3 in another Urban Decay shop and the lady told me there they would be selling it on the 12th. So I obviously went in on the 12th and got it. There was only a few left when I got mine. But as far as I know this is available in all Urban Decay stores on the 16th of this month and be warned this will sell out fast!! The sales assistant even told me in build up for this palette to be released they had sold out of the Naked 1 & 2! So if this is on your daughters, girlfriends, mother or anyone belonging to you Christmas list I would be up early on the 16th to grab it before it goes!

My Favourite Drug Store Base November '13 | Revlon

Revlon Colourstay Foundation ~

You are probably all thinking you are so late on the bandwagon with this one and I know I truly am. But I always walked past this foundation in boots and never gave it much thought until recently. I was at the Revlon stand at the lipsticks when I decided to have a look at their foundations. This is where my dizzy head comes into play though, I had my boyfriend with me who was getting slightly tried of walking around boots so I decided to hurry up in picking the last few bits up. I picked this foundation in the colour "Ivory" and headed for the tills.

The next day I was dying to try this so I applied it and LOVED it would be an understatement! It look so amazing on my face and the finish is beautiful. I took a second look at the bottle and I had actually picked up the one for normal to dry skin one and immediately could have face palmed myself! I have really oily skin lately so I thought this would be a disaster, but I had no time to take it off and re-apply something. So I finished my makeup and headed out.

When I got in after quite a busy day running around doing various things I was pleasantly surprised at how well this foundation had lasted on my face. I wasn't a grease ball and my face actually looked the very near same to what I had looked like that morning.  This baffles me still? I'm tempted to pick up the formula for oily skin to see what the difference is? If anyone has tried both please leave a comment  because I'd love to know what other people think.

The texture of this foundation is really nice, its feels very soft and velvet. I apply this with my fingers as I just find it quick and easy but I think this foundation would work really well with a brush also!

All in all, I really love this foundation despite my worries it has really impressed me. I would really recommend this if your looking for a new base, I wear this now as my everyday foundation. They have a good shade selection and a formula for every skin type!

The Autumn Tag

Hey guys, so firstly I have been away for so so long, and trust me it has been driving me crazy! I started college in October and ever since I have been super busy. Finally I have settled in and got a routine back! So sorry guys but I'm back now :)

So its that time of season to do the Autumn Tag! I was tagged by the lovely Kammi, make sure to get check her Autumn tag out and also her blog is really nice and a really good read with a cuppa ~ blog

So lets get on with the questions...

Favourite thing about Autumn?

My favourite thing about Autumn is the feeling of getting cosy, wrapping up in cosy jumpers and cardigans. There's nothing better than getting cosy on the couch watching tv or reading a good book.

Favourite drink?

Its pretty common but my favourite drink (while it is out) is Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Latte, I love this stuff and try to get as many as I can because Starbucks only has them on sale for a short time. But when i cant get this my next option which is equally as delicious is a nice hot Chai Latte, all the flavour's in these drinks just get me in the mood for Christmas haha!

Favourite scented candle?

I love  any cinnamon scented candles, as you can probably tell by now I like the taste and smell of different spices so anything spicy I love but I especially love a good cinnamon candle!

Favourite Lippy?

When Autumn comes around I'm so ready for the transition in my everyday makeup! I swap my nudes and peaches for plums & berry's. My favourite everyday plum lipstick is Plumful by Mac!

Go to moisturiser?

Well lately I have been getting really oily around my nose and chin, so seen though its getting colder my skin is not getting any dryer so I still use my Favourite moisturiser, Clinque's Dramatically different moisturising gel!

Go to colour for eyes?

My favourite colours this time of year like my lipsticks is berry/purple's but I tend not to year them both at the same time so if i have a berry toned eye, ill go for a nude lip. My favourite shade on the eye is Cranberry by Mac, its one of those shades that suits everyone!

Favourite music to listen to?

My music doesn't really change in autumn but at the moment I'm loving Ben Howard & Bon Iver. Their music chills me out so much :)

Favourite outfit to wear?

I don't really have a favourite outfit but I wear my tartan scarf and black boots to death so they would have to be my favourite!

Autumn Treat?

For my it's buying lots of cosy jumpers and some really nice coffee!

Favourite place to be?

This answer will probably sound like my favourite thing about autumn, but I really love feeling cosy on the couch reading, or knitting which is a random hobby I have recently got into haha granny material in the making!

Well that's all the questions answered, I hope you liked them! Thanks again to Kammi for tagging me!

I'm tagging everyone & anyone who wants to do this, even just answer the questions in a comment because I'd love to hear your Autumn tag answers!

Thanks for reading!

Liebster Award Nomination

I have been nominated for the Liebster Award :) I'm so thrilled to have been nominated by the lovely Hope Aslinger, go check out her amazing blog Here.

So to be honest when I was told by hope that she had nominated me, I really had no clue what this award was about but I did some research and read the information on Hope's blog and now I think I have a fair idea on what it is. So this award is for bloggers who have been nominated to give it to other bloggers. These bloggers have to have less then 200 followers. ( I have used the follower count on bloglovin because it was easier that way)  I think this is a brilliant idea, it really helps people get to know you and to keep finding more interesting blogs.

The Rules of the Liebster Award
  1. Link to the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Answer the 10 questions given to you by the nominator.
  3.  Nominate 5 to 10 bloggers who have less than 200 followers.
  4. Make up your own 10 questions or use the 10 your nominator gave you.
  5. Leave a comment on your nominee's blog about their award.

 Hope's questions to me:

1. What is your favourite thing about being a blogger?
I think their are lost of things about being a blogger that I love but I especially because I get to meet and talk to people who are into the same things as I am. I have talked to some lovely people since starting my blog who have been super nice and really welcoming. I didn't feel like an outsider which may be sappy but it really is an amazing place to make some new friends who have common interests with you.

2. Do you prefer lipstick or some sort of lip balm on a daily basis?
Hands down It has to be a lip balm. Don't get me wrong I love my lipsticks but I'm addicted to lip balms, Their easy to apply throughout the day & keeping your lips in good condition at the same time. My favourite lip balm at the minute is My Burt's bees lip balm.

3. What is the most you have ever spent on one single beauty item?
This is a really good question, and this really made me think on what was the most expensive product so I had a thing and finally came up with... My Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser. It cost me a grand total of €48 in Harvey Nichols. Crazy I know, but totally Worth every penny. I use this every day and I will definitely be re-purchasing when it runs out.

4. What are your favourite clothing stores to shop at?
Its going to be no surprise but I love shopping at Penny's (Primark). They have some really good stuff for affordable prices. I think you can find basics to some really nice on trend pieces.

5. What is your favourite quote?
My favourite quote is something that means a lot to me.
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”~ Nelson Mandela

6. What is your favourite perfume this time of year?
I have to say this is a hard one but I think my favourite has to be Lady Gaga Fame.

7.  Are you one of those girls who keep their nails painted all the time or is it a rare occasion?
I am most definitely one of those girls who has their nails painted all the time. I hate my nails bare because I think it looks horrible on me. Have a colour on my nails make my chubby fingers look better ha ha!

 8. What is your favourite makeup brand?
I really could not choose just one. But my favourite makeup brands that I tend to use a lot & love are Estee lauder, Art deco and Laura Mercier.

9.  Where would you go if you could take a dream Vacation?
Didn't even need to think about this one! NEW YORK!!! I would love to go New York, its looks beautiful and it had been my dream since I first saw the movie Home Alone Lost In New York! I re-watched this as a kid so many time I actually broke the video. I now have it on DVD & still continue to watch it more than I should!

10. What do you buy more of: Makeup, Hair care or bath and body stuff?
I have a unhealthy obsession with buying makeup so that would have to be the answer to that question.

Thank you so much Hope for nominating me, I had a lot of fun answering your questions! Here are some amazing blogs that I would like to nominate ~

Here are my questions :

  1. What made you become a blogger?
  2. What is one beauty item you could not live without?

My Current Skincare Routine | Extras

So this post is the end of my skincare routine. These products are the extra steps I take when I feel my skin needs them.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask ~

This mask is perfect if you have deep pores like I do which sometimes can get congested and plain right disgusting! For a charcoal mask the smell is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I like using this at night time and I usually use it at least once a week, because as I said I need to keep clearing my pores. If your pores are not that bad you wouldn't have to use as often. I love this mask because unlike other face masks I've tried, when you take it off, your skin is firm and so smooth but not that horrible tight feeling you experience with a lot of face masks. I usually focus this product on my nose, cheeks and chin. I really love this mask and after two weeks of using this I noticed much clearer pores and with continual use I have seen a huge improvement.

Sudocrem ~

Now this is going to seem odd for a few of you reading this but let me tell you this Little gem is a life saver.  In Ireland this is known to heal pretty much anything & and you can be sure every household has this in their cupboard. Its an anti-septic cream which makes its powerful. If I have a spot coming I will dab some of this on and in the morning the redness and bump will be near to nothing. Also As strange as this sounds an occasional evening I use the what we like to call sudocream face mask ha ha, I only use this extreme measure when my skin is just a complete mess. I will apply the cream to my face and massage it in. I wait about 2 hours, usually have a cuppa and see whats on the Tv. After having a relax most of the cream has sinked into my skin but if not you can either wash off or keep massaging until all the cream has sinked into your skin. Trust me this may seem strange but it really works.

So finally that's all the products I use in my skincare routine, I hope you enjoyed reading it!

My Current Skincare Routine | Moisturisers

Now on to Moisturisers (Clinque Dramatically Different Moisturising Gel, La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo & Hydraluron)

I'm really difficult when it comes to moisturisers, I've never found one that I liked enough to repurchase...until now!! I have two because I reach for a certain one in a certain situation, for example when I have active breakouts or my skin is just going through a hormonal mess (Ladies you know what I'm talking about) I grab this magical item, This is the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo, this moisturiser is aimed at clogged pores and active breakouts and after using this, it really does reduce redness on spots and helps with my HUGE pores from getting clogged..Yuck! The texture of this cream is not like a typical moisturiser, its more like a serum that sinks into your skin quickly. The great thing about this product is you can also use it as a spot treatment and only apply on the areas you need it!

My Clinque moisturiser is my everyday moisturiser that I reach for when my skin is just at its normal state, this stuff is amazing and by first reading the title, I did think it was promising too much but it really does have a dramatically different affect on your skin! My skin felt more hydrated, plump and healthy! The best think about this product is its aimed for oily/combo skin, but as most products that are aimed for that skin type they really leave they skin very dry and not as healthy looking in order to get most out of the anti oil properties in the moisturiser but with the Clinque one, it does both, it help oil stay at bay, and keeps your skin looking fab! WIN WIN. And also if you don't have oily skin and are more Dry/combo they have the same product but its called Dramatically different moisturising Lotion! I have totally fallen in love with this product & I really recommend it!

Now although this next product is not a moisturiser, you use in under one so I decided to slot it in here! This product is called hydraluron, and its quite interesting how this works. You apply a small about all over you face, let it dry then use your moisturiser. It states that it can hold up to 1,000 times it weight in water which is pretty impressive. So basically when you put this on, It keeps your skin very hydrated through out the whole day, and from using it myself I can see the difference. My skin looks so fresh and again plump. When I take my makeup off, This is the time when I can see the true outcome of the product, usually without using this product that day my skin looks so dead and just plain bad. But with is my skin just looks hydrated, which makes my colouration look really good.

My Current Skincare Routine | Toners

Toners

Lately in the beauty world, toners are a bit of a hot topic, I myself changed my entire skincare routine when I was introduced to the amazing Caroline Hirons, On PixiWoo's Body Talk Youtube Channel. She featured in one of their videos talking all about skincare, This woman is a genius and I have to admit I'm addicted to her blog. What I really like about Caroline is she knows her stuff, and you can be guaranteed if she recommends it, its going to be amazing. You can check out her blog here.  Anyways in this video she was talking about toners and how the "toner" stage has become not needed. However The next product in my skincare she says to be the new way to tone AND Exfoliate...

Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner ~

Now I know when I first saw this I was a tad confused because I have oily skin & I always used to exfoliate with a thick cream with beads in it, but I was shocked when Caroline mentions that this tye of exfoliation is just spreading the bacteria around your face. I Immediately was grossed out and had to pick up one of the suggestions she mentioned in the video, I choose the Clarins exfoliator which is an acidic exfoliator. In contains loads of good stuff for your skin for example Glycolic Acid, tartaric acid etc all really good acids made to really exfoliate and tone your skin.

La Roche Posay Serozinc ~

Now this product is something you put on after you do the above step, this is cleans all the bacteria off your face and for me really keeps nasty spots & breakouts from appearing on my skin. This product is also if your skin is feeling dehydrated during the day, you just spray in on and it can be applied over makeup. Caroline said a product like this is better for your skin than the facial sprays you see like Evian because these actually skin on the skin and end up making the skin even more dry.

For more information you really should watch the video, It's so interesting & It will get you thinking about skincare in a completely different way! Watch Here.

My Current Skincare Routine | Background & Cleansers

I'm going to split my skincare into parts as I don't want one super long post!

In this post unfortunately you are not going to find really cheap skincare as I'm a firm believer that you get one skin, and in order to have healthy skin and a lovely canvas to apply your makeup, you have to invest in some quality skincare products!

So some background of my skin, I have combo/Oily skin which can get VERY oily. From using products for oily skin parts of my face have become dry but this only happens sometimes for the most part I have oily skin. Just a disclaimer these products work for me and might have a different outcome with another person's skin.

Cleansers ( Bioderma & Emma Hardie's Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm.)

To take off my makeup or the first layer of it anyways I use my bioderma on oval cotton pads. This is truly an amazing product and I really enjoy using it, I have already done a blog post on this so f you want to find out more you can do so here Bioderma Review.

This next product is a true gem to have in your skincare! Emma Hardie's Amazing face Balm just works wonders!  I was very hesitant to buy this as I have oily skin and I thought it would break my skin out as its a balm. There is also a LOT of hype about this product online so I'm not one to jump straight on the bandwagon, I did wait a while and researched this product like crazy, so when everyone was loving it I decided I would give it a go! My skin looks and feels fantastic from using this, Its actually crazy how much of a difference my skin showed. My skin looks healthier and this stuff keeps nasty break outs at bay!

You get a pea sized about in your palm, add a few drops of water then massage onto the face, it's a really nice feeling on your skin and doesn't leave a horrible greasy residue!

Mac Haul | It's All About The Eyes!

So as the title suggests, this is a Mac haul which includes products for the eyes!

I have wanted to make up my own Mac pallete for ages and not only are they super handy in the quad but they are actually better for money! I wanted a pallete that I could put in my makeup bag and create a simple casual look , and also the size I choose is perfect for it to be used as a travel pallete.

I got the Pro colour x4 compact (Quad) Ive been searching for what colours I wanted for ages and these were my favourite for the looks I go for!

I got :
RicePaper

All that Glitters

Amber Lights

Cranberry

These colours are so nice, and you can have loads of variations, they have really good pigmentation an blend really nicely.

While on this this trip to Mac, I decided to get the brush that everyone talks about when the talk of eye makeup brushes, The 217 brush. I can completely confirm the hype is totally worth it, if your crap at blending colours in your crease then get this brush because it really does the work for you! It makes you look like you created an amazing skilled eye look when really you were just hoping for the best!

Luxury/Treat Day Makeup Haul Featuring Estee Lauder, Yves Saint Laurent & Dior

So another Month of summer has flew by, and this month I have recently bought a few new "Treat day" items which is why I have no favourites this past month, but they might pop up in My August favourites.

The past Month has been a bit of a Blah, Meh, Ugh Month, so I went a little mad and splurged on some luxury makeup. I also bought some new skincare which I will also do a post on.  I got these products from Debenhams & FeelUnique. I do realise these products are on the pricey side, but when your have a crap week/month you deserve a pick me up and mine just so happens to be makeup!

First up is An Estee Lauder Pure Colour Eyeshadow Duo in "Raisins".

These Eyeshadow Duo's are so pretty, and the packaging is just simply amazing! The colours in the palette are really pigmented, The really are two shades made for each other. You can the colours together or each on their own and it would look stunning on the eye. I have blue eyes and it looks fab but I think these colours would really suit any eye colour. Since getting these and wearing them, I have gotten so many compliments, even from my boyfriend which is rare since he hasn't a clue about makeup.

Next two products are from Yves Saint Laurent, Two Lipsticks "Nude in Private & Coral Intuitive"

First of all lets just take a moment to appreciate the fabulous packaging....ok moment over. I'm an absolute sucker when it comes to packaging and i think when your buying a luxury product, you feel so so much better when the product comes in pretty packaging! Anyways on too the lipsticks! Both of these Lipsticks are from The Rouge Volupte Shine Collection. This means that you get a gorgeous colour with a really moisturising texture. And depending how brave you are with the colour selection on offer, the colour pay off is great! I'm a lover of the nudes and these two lipsticks in particular are lovely on the lips!

                                                                    Nude In Private

                                                                  Coral Intuitive

And last but not least the Dior Skin Nude BB Creme in "002 Fair"

This is really an impulse buy, I was watching the makeup Queen Lisa Eldridge in one of her youtube tutorials using this BB cream and I fell in love with it and everything Lisa had to say about it. So as you do I went straight online and bought it! This is such a lovely BB cream, and I really am delighted I got it. At first glance it looks like a squeeze tube but once you remove the lid there is a pump, so its super easy to get the exact amount of product that you want. There are three shades in the BB cream, Light, Fair and Medium.

Bioderma Crealine H2O Solution Micellaire Review

We all know that the French have their skin care perfected down to a tee. The skincare that you find in their pharmacies are better than our High end skincare. Bioderma is a Micellaire solution/water. This product has become very hyped over the last few years in the beauty blogger world, so here's my opinion on it!

First of all with all skincare, some will love and some will hate. The most important thing about skincare is, it takes up to six weeks for you to notice a difference after introducing something new in your skincare routine. So don't expect any skincare product to work its magic straight away. Also with the process of it working its magic, some times the product can break you out because this is your skins way of getting used to something new, so its not always that the new product is bad & breaking you out.

So on to Bioderma, I personally LOVE this stuff! It's quick and easy which is just my style. In the past my skincare has been rubbish. I just used makeup remover wipes to clean my face which is so so bad for your skin. Its only in recent years I have started to take care of my skin, YOU ONLY GET ONE SKIN! Bioderma is as quick as makeup remover wipes but its also really good for your skin. I use this before my cleanser to take the first layer of my makeup off, not that I layer on the makeup but a second cleanse with my cleanser will get rid of the rest. Bioderma is also amazing at taking off eye makeup, some people just use this as an eye makeup remover because it takes off waterproof makeup really well & fast. Its also gentle on the eye area.

I use this on oval cotton pads and I just wipe my face all over, it takes off makeup effortlessly. If I come in late from a night out and I just want to jump straight to bed, I use this and I don't wake up with a pillow full of makeup and a head full of guilt & shame that I didn't clean my face before i went to bed! There is no real fragrance to this product, so its perfect for people who are sensitive to smells or fragranced products.

I really cant fault this product at all, other than that its a bit difficult to get your hands on in Ireland. I order it off Ebay, but you can also get it on Le Guide Sante. You get 500ml of product in the bottle, which is quite a lot but it does go fast if you use it regularly which I do anyway! So go try this for yourself and you will see how amazing it is. Hope this review helped some of you that are thinking about getting Bioderma!

L'Occitane Hand Creams Review

I confess I am a hand cream collector, I have tonnes of hand creams some of which are good and bad. Unfortunately I also have extremely bad eczema on my hands, so I have to be very careful what I put on them. I have heard so many good reviews about the L'Occitane brand in general but in particular there hand creams, so I decided to have a nosey in the store and see what caught my eye!

So surprise surprise, I bought 3 hand creams. When I went in they had an offer 3 for the price of 2, and they had them in cute packaging so I could not resist.

First up the Hand Cream in "Rose Petals"

The smell of this is just amazing, I could sniff my hands all day! This is a sweet smell but not a sickly sweet one. My other "Rose" scented things smell artificial, but this really does smell like real Rose Petals which is pretty darn good if you ask me. The hand cream itself is hands down just brilliant, It sinks in really fast which is a must for me as I am one of those people who hates waiting around for things to dry while you are sitting there very sticky. Its also not greasy on the hands which is an added bonus because some hand creams can have that awful greasy feeling ages after applying it. And the big factor to this hand cream is it doesn't irritate my ever so sensitive eczema!! Hooray A lovely hand cream that actually works and doesn't affect my hands in any way! I really cant say enough about this product, but with everything some will love it and some will hate it! And a big thing to remember about skin conditions especially eczema what works & doesn't irritate me might have the complete opposite affect with you!

The two other scents are  "Mango Flower' and "Date Bouquet" which work the exact same as the Rose Petals one and have amazing scents also, it really does what it says on the tin where the scent is involved!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Have you ever tried these hand creams?

Beauty Haul

Hi Guys!

Have you ever just went to a shopping centre for just one thing that you actually needed and then end up coming home with a couple of bags of stuff? Well that happened for me..Oops! So I thought I'd do a haul for you! I limited myself to two shops... Boots & The Body Shop.

So I'll Start with Boots...

First up is Soap & Glory "Glow All Out" Luminizing radiance face powder.

I have been on the hunt for a powder highlight for my cheeks, as I currently have Benefit's High-beam which is a liquid highlight. Although I love High-beam, I wanted to try a powder highlight and this looked perfect!

Next up is Maybelline's Rocket Volume Mascara

This is the newest mascara Maybelline has brought out, and of coarse me being an avid lover of there mascaras I decided to give it a go! The thing that has me excited about this product is the wand, it has the plastic bristles which I think gets right into my lashes without clumping them, some people don't like the plastic wands but I love them!

Next we have A Revlon Colour-burst Lip Butter (Shade - Lollipop 075)

I love the Revlon Lip butters so I decided to add this lovely fushia toned one to my lippy collection! These are so moisturising on the lips and the colour pay off is amazing! Cant wait to start wearing this one.

I also bought another item from Revlon, The Super Lustrous Lipstick (Shade - Cherry Blossom 028)

I really wanted some more bright colour lip products because I want to force myself to be a bit more brave when it comes to lipsticks as I tend to stick with my Nudes! Looking first glance at this lipstick you think its going to be a deep red but it swatches totally different, It comes out a bright pink! Its a lovely colour and I cant wait to start wearing this, such a good colour for Summer!

Last up from Boots is a nail item, Models Own Nail Beads (Black)

Nail art has become very big over the last few months! This product is designed to give your nails a 3D affect, you apply the beads onto wet nail polish and let it dry. On first glance I think this product is going to be a great dupe for the Ciate Caviar Limited Edition Manicure Set - Black Pearls which retails for €23.86 get it here on Asos ! This models own version retails for €6.10 which I think is amazing if you don't have the money for the Ciate one! Models Own does different colours in the beads, on the top of my head I think there is green, pink, gold and yellow as well as the black, so you could match the beads to whatever nail polish you have around the house!

Next on to the Body Shop buys-

First up is two Lip Balms (Mango & Sweet Lemon Flavour)

First up these smell FANTASTIC! You will have to stop yourself from eating them! I love lip balms and have never tried any from the body shop so I'm excited to see how these will turn out, the smell alone gets my vote already :)

Next is the Coconut Hand Cleanse Gel

I love keeping hand sanitizers in my bag at all times, I'm not a germaphobe but I just like to have it on me in case I feel the need to clean my hands and I cant get to a wash room! This stuff is amazing I opened it when I got home and when you apply it you cant smell anything, but when the sanitizer dries into your hands, this like most hand santizers dries very fast, It then smells like Coconuts! Its amazing, It leaves your hands so soft and smelling beautiful for ages. Very impressed with this product!

Last up is my favourite thing to have on a treat night, Some bath bombs!

Unfortunately these don't have names on them so I cant tell you which ones they are but they look pretty distinctive, So if you want to get your hands on some, just pop in to the store and I'm sure you will find them :) If you don't know what a bath bomb is, It's a round ball that when dropped into your bath filled with hot water it will "burst" open with cleansing agents, oils, colours and scents. These are super duper relaxing! Would really recommend for a chill night!

That's my haul! Hope you enjoyed & thanks for reading! If you would like me to review any of these items or have any questions just drop me a comment and I will have no bother doing that for you :)

Lip Products Collection & Review

Hi All

In the last few months I have started to love something that I previously hated which is... drum roll please, LIPSTICKS! I have always been an avid lover all things got to do with lips, in my handbag at all times you will find at least 5 lip products at the bottom of it!

I know I'm not the only girl who does this as I have seen many of my friends in the same position, I myself love reading posts about lip products so I decided I would do one, Hope you enjoy!

So first up I'll show you my Lipsticks...

MAC
From Left to Right is :
Viva Glam Nicki (Satin)
Politely Pink (Lustre)
Creme Cup (Cremesheen)
Angel (Frost)
Myth (Satin)

 (Without Flash)

(With Flash)

Some Swatches

These lipsticks in my opinion are amazing, I'm not the brave when it came to colours here I mainly stuck to nudes and nude pinks.  Crème Cup and Angel show up similar in the picture but they do look slightly different on the lips. The only one that I didn't get on with is the last colour which is Myth, This is a famous nude lippy from Mac but just did not suit my complexion so I would recommend swatching and trying them out at your Mac counter. I should also add these lipsticks smell AMAZING! They have a light Vanilla scent but its not over powering!

KATE MOSS RIMMEL COLLECTION

From Left to Right :
03
08

Swatches
                                              (Without Flash)              (With Flash)

These lipsticks were raved about for ages online, so I picked up two from the collection. These are semi-matte and are very long lasting. The swatch different though as they actual colours don't look like what you originally think they will look like. These are slightly drying on the lips so if you suffer from very dry lips I wouldn't go for these! My favourite colour out of these two is 08 its so nice for a casual lip with a subtle bit of colour on the lips. These lippy's are also scented, them smell perfumey, but not in a bad way!

CHANEL ROUGE COCO SHINE

From Left to Right :
48 Evasion
54 Boy

These lipsticks are by far my favourite! I got these as a present from my parents when they came through duty free in the airport so I was delighted when I finally owned one of the most luxurious beauty products out there. The Rouge Coco Shine collection is so so nice. They are sheer and this picture does not do them justice, they look lovely on the lips and you can see a lovely colour on the lips once applied. The best thing about these lipsticks is, they are so moisturising! They feel super soft on the lips and have fairly good lasting power, but do need to be re-applied after eating & drinking which is to be expected since they are 'Shine' lipsticks! I would recommend these for a treat to yourself, they are on the pricey side but when you want to have a little treat day and own a very gorgeous product these are for you!

Now on to the Lip Gloss & Balms

From Right to Left again:

Rimmel Vinyl Gloss 770
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker (Punch Bowl)
Fuschia Liquigloss (Red Rose)
YSL Lip Stain/Gloss (9)
Burts Bees Lip Balm (Pomegranate flavour)
No7 BB Lips (Belle Pink)
Revlon Lip Butter (Peach Parfait)
Vaseline Pink Bubbly Limited Edition

The only products not swatched above was Burt's Bees and the Vaseline as they have no colour!

There are some super pigmented products in those pictures! They all have a really nice affect on the lips!

That's all my lip products, Hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for reading :)
